Situation

Digital evidence at risk, or data leaked?

Electronic evidence is fragile: it can be deleted, overwritten or challenged if handled carelessly. We forensically image devices and accounts, recover deleted data and analyse communications and activity logs with a documented chain of custody, so findings remain admissible.

Warning signs

Signs you need an independent investigation

  • An employee leaving with confidential data
  • Suspected deletion of emails or files
  • Unauthorised access or account takeover
  • Leaks of pricing, client or product information

Frequently asked questions

Is electronic evidence admissible in Indian courts?

Yes. Under the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 (which replaced the Indian Evidence Act from 1 July 2024), electronic records are admissible subject to the conditions in section 63, which include a certificate in the prescribed form. Proper forensic handling makes that certification credible.
