In short
Promoter due diligence researches the people behind an investment (their track record, other business interests, related parties, litigation, regulatory history and reputation) and verifies it through discreet source enquiries. Spectra Forensics delivers ranked red flags before you commit, and investigates portfolio companies when something goes wrong after you have invested.

Guide
What you need to know
What does promoter due diligence cover?
Corporate and personal track record; other directorships and business interests; related parties and beneficial ownership; litigation, insolvency, default and regulatory records; adverse media in multiple languages; and reputation verified through discreet enquiries with former colleagues, competitors and industry sources.
Why isn’t financial and legal diligence enough?
Those reviews test what is disclosed. Investigative diligence looks for what is not: undisclosed interests, prior failures, disputes, and how the promoter is regarded by people who have dealt with them.
What happens if something goes wrong after investing?
Forensic accounting, data analytics and interviews establish what happened in the portfolio company: diversion of funds, revenue manipulation or related-party leakage. The findings support board action, warranty claims or recovery.
- Promoter and management due diligence report
- Ownership, group and related-party chart
- Red-flag summary for the investment committee
- Investigation reports for portfolio-company concerns
